Core Values

Hard Work

for our Party,
for our County,
for our Neighbors

Integrity

in what we Say,
in what we Do

Justice

for All

Hard Work

I commit to working as hard as needed to ensure WCDP meets its goals and to support the activities and accomplishments of its Officers, Executive Committee, and Volunteers. Political work is hard work (been there, done that…) and I’m ready to roll up my sleeves for our Party, our County, and our Neighbors.

Integrity

I vow to uphold the utmost level of integrity in both what I say and what I do. I will speak truth to power and speak my mind, for the benefit of WCDP and our work. I will not partake in backroom deals or expedient political calculations, both of which always lead to failure in the long term.

Justice

I believe in justice as a primary directive for political work. There can be no peace without justice. There can be no democracy without justice. It is incumbent upon all of us to regard justice as a necessary condition to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all.

Key Priorities

Priority 1

Supporting the WCDP Chair, Executive Committee, & Work Committees per the By-Laws

The most important duty of the Vice-Chair is to uphold the office as outlined in the WCDP By-Laws. I will dedicate my tenure to supporting the strategic, operational, and tactical needs of the WCDP Chair, based on the two-year roadmap, budget, and other guidelines set forth by the Executive Committee. I will additionally support all Work Committees achieve their goals.

Priority 2

Scrum-mastering for WCDP

As a trained Scrum Master, I aim to bring best practices in team and task management, so WCDP Officers, Executive Committee Members, and Volunteers can focus their energy and passion on getting things done. I will target the systematic removal of hurdles and overhead, so that all contributions from WCDP members and supporters are effectively driving change in our County.

Let’s chat about what scrum-mastering means!

Priority 3

Maturing Infrastructure, Tools, and Processes for WCDP

In the last four years, WCDP has grown in leaps and bounds, in all its areas of work. With such growth comes a need to mature the resources and the practices so they can efficiently support WCDP. Working closely with all stakeholders, I will put to use my skills as a certified CMMI v2 Associate to benefit WCDP, so it becomes a resilient leader and model in Tennessee.
